Models with doors have a key lock by the door handle. Regardless of doors, an additional bicycle lock between the back wheel and rear axle is recommended when parking, as most insurance providers require approved locks for theft coverage.

### Can I remove the doors in summer when it's hot?
Yes, doors can be removed by loosening interior screws securing the overturn safety rope, then pulling the door from the top hinge at a 90-degree angle to the opening.

### Is there space for a child in the trunk of the Quadvelo?
Parents assume full responsibility for carrying additional persons or pets. A go-cart-style seat on rails may be installed in the trunk if desired.

### How much luggage can I carry in the Quadvelo?
The trunk accommodates up to 120 kg, with an additional 80 kg capacity via an attachable bicycle trailer.

### Do I need insurance for the Quadvelo?
Insurance isn't mandatory in most EU countries, but coverage for theft, vandalism, and breakdown assistance is strongly recommended.

### When will my Quadvelo be delivered if I order today?
In-stock orders typically deliver within two weeks after payment. Custom orders require 3–6 months depending on configuration.
